Profession: Creative Services & Consulting

Olivia Arnold is the National Black MBA Cleveland Chapter's Director of Marketing, Communication, & Public Relations. She is also the owner of a Creative Marketing & Production firm called Creative In His Image, LLC. We asked Olivia a few questions to get to know her better. Here is how it went:

Q: Why did you did you decide to join the National Black MBA Cleveland Chapter?

A: I found out about the chapter and organization from the chapter's past president, Shaquira Johnson. Hearing about her passion and commitment to the organization sold me immediately. I was excited and still am about being a part of something that is bigger than myself that gives me the opportunity to serve, and utilize my skills, while adding value to the chapter's resources.

Q: Tell us a little more about your profession and what you enjoy most about what you do?

A: I am a full-time entrepreneur. I would say by accident but I am sure it would have happened eventually. I own a creative services company called Creative In Is Image. We specialize in creative digital assets for our clients which includes: websites, social media content, video editing, script writing, and on-set production coordination. We also help emerging entrepreneurs with web series, podcast development, and DIY brand projects. I enjoy the freedom of doing what I was created to do, creating a company that streamlines the creative process, and being able to do it from where ever I want.

Q: What has been your greatest accomplishment being a part apart of the NBMBAA Cleveland Chapter, and in your profession, community, or industry?

A: One of my greatest accomplishments as a part of the NBMBAA Cleveland Chapter is developing the skill set of networking and helping develop the new chapter website. Honestly if it had not been for the National Black MBA Cleveland Chapter I am not sure I would have had the comfort level to use networking as the greatest means of marketing my business.

My greatest accomplishment professionally has been my owning m business after being laid off. A lay off can either make or break you and while starting a new business has now been perfect, the journey has strengthened me in ways I could never image.
